 Position Summary:

Servers at IAH George Bush Intercontinental Airport are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and executing the OTG steps of service to the highest standards.


Responsibilities:

Follow OTG steps of service,standard operating procedures.

Greet guests pleasantly


Walkguests through the OTG orderingand paymentsystem

Highlight menu, foodand beverage options, make suggestions based on guest preferencesand/or dietary restrictions/allergies

Follow the OTG cash handling and cash register policies

Maintain cleanliness within the restaurants dining and service stations

Communicatewith Chefsand Managers to ensure food is delivered to guests in a timely manner

Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations

Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required

Assistteam membersas needed

Inform MOD on guest complaints/feedback/inquiries

Monitor and report intoxicated guests to MOD

Inform leadership team oflowinventory and equipment issues

Perform additionaltasks requestedby theOTGleadership team


Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience as a Server

Strong communicationand interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment

Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including beer, wineand cocktail pairings

Must be at least 18 years of age

Fluent+ fully conversational inEnglish


Must become TIPS certified within 90 daysof employment

Able to lift,upto 35 lbs. in weight

Must be able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch

Must be available to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and bad weatherconditions--must be flexible

Pay rate: $2.13 per hour plus tips
